Work Outlook
While work remains slow, several projects are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025, providing opportunities for employment and continued growth.
Locals 5, 38, 129, 306, 683, and 1105 currently have open calls. Members seeking work are encouraged to contact these locals for available opportunities.
PROJECT UPDATES
FORM Energy: Songer Electric has been awarded the Validation Building
Wiley Ridge: March 2025 – Temporary power installation and scheduled material deliveries.
Cardinal Water Treatment: McCarl’s awarded the project. Hiring is expected soon.
Cardinal Outage: 25-35 Electricians. Unit 1: 4/26-5/11/25; Unit 2: 5/17-6/1/25; Unit 3: 3/8-4/11/25
JSW Gasification: A meeting is scheduled to finalize project plans.
Ergon: Cattrell is currently on-site and will be hiring additional workers.
Roll Coater: Bruce & Merrilees (B&M) has been awarded the project. The estimated workforce is 5-6 electricians for several months.
